It is impossible to think about welfare of the world unless the condition of women is improved. It is impossible for a bird to fly only on one wing.
As long as women are bound by poverty, human rights will lack substance.

I am very happy to see that under-privileged girls who are flowering due to their hard work in developing themselves are supported and encouraged by Gyaan Jyoti. I am impressed by the hard work and dedication put in by the Gyaan Jyoti founders and associates towards their vision for upliftment of the weaker sections of society. Their efforts are making sure that the programs are administered well and the momentum seen over the past several years is a proof of their success.
Education is a right every child must have. To banish the darkness, every heart does crave.
But poverty is a sin, she did not commit. To the yoke of which, she will forever submit.
For a moment contemplate, the pain in her heart. When her life is doomed, before it could start.
Her dreams of freedom, to reach the sky, are dashed to ground, and she doesn’t know why.
To enable her, to carve her fate, to help her see, the life ahead,
To make her ready, for every strife, let’s light a lamp, in her life.
Gyaan Jyoti has offered us an opportunity to be part of education and development program for higher education of poor girls under Gyaan Jyoti's Scholarship scheme .We deeply appreciate and thank all the people involved in the great work of educating and empowering the poor.
I am associated with the Scholarship Scheme since inception as Swayamsevika. Poor girls getting support are pursuing their studies which they might not have continued in absence of scholarship. Thanks to Gyaanjyoti
We all know that to be a girl, in a poor family in India, is a curse. With a little understanding and help from each of us, that curse can be turned into a boon. If she can be educated, she will change India.
I would like to thank Gyaan Jyoti for giving me the opportunity to sponsor the education of four girls, an experience which has been both humbling and galvanizing.
